Anthony W. Bartels, DDS

Dr. Anthony W. Bartels graduated from Arkansas State University with a B. S. in Zoology. He received his D.D.S. degree from Louisiana State University, then was chosen for an Academy of General Dentistry Residency program in New Orleans. He has been in private practice in Jonesboro since 1995.

Dr. Anthony Bartels is a member of the American Dental Association and the Arkansas Dental Association. He is the 2004-2005 president and the past treasurer of the Northeast Arkansas Dental Association and past president of the Crowley’s Ridge Dental Study Club. He is also a member of the Academy of General Dentistry.

In 2002, Dr. Anthony Bartels was named the state’s outstanding new dentist by the Arkansas Dental Association. He became a member of the Pierre Fouchard Academy (International Dental Honor Society) in 2003.

Dr. Bartels is active in his community, serving as dental advisor on the Northeast Arkansas Kids Count Coalition, and on the board of directors of St. Bernard’s Hospice and the Blessed Sacrament School. He is on the staff of St. Bernard’s Regional Medical Center and a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Dr. Anthony treats patients as a volunteer dentist for the Jonesboro Church Health Center and Women's Crisis Center.

Dr. Anthony Bartels and his wife Martha have three children: Will (11), Walker (9), and Caroline (6).

Troy D. Bartels, DDS

Dr. Troy Bartels attended Arkansas State University, then he was excepted early to Louisiana State University School of Dentistry where he earned his DDS degree. He was selected for an Advanced General Dentistry residency in 1998, then entered into private practice at the end of that year.

Dr. Bartels is a member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. He is a former president of the Northeast Arkansas District Dental Society and Crowley’s Ridge Study Club. He has been a member of the Pierre Fouchard Academy (International Dental Honor Society) since 2003. Dr. Bartels is a member of the Arkansas State Dental Association and in 2007 was presented the New Dentist Award.

Dr. Bartels is chief of dental staff at St. Bernard’s Regional Medical Center and a former president of the Jonesboro Church Health Center. He is a parishioner at Blessed Sacrament Church. Dr. Troy Bartels and his wife, Brigitte, have 3 sons, Dryden, Grant, and Matthew.
